After committing several more murders, the mysterious master-criminal sets fire to one of the winter quarters buildings to cover up another misdeed. After rescuing the stolen money from the burning building, Gregor is confronted by Carl, who has been shadowing the Russian for reasons of his own. Unmasked by Carl, Gregor’s true identity is finally revealed. In the resulting confusion, Gregor and Natasha escape with the money.
