There are a couple stories that relate to elephants being used to intentionally demolish buildings.

I have read a couple of those stories, but you don't think doing it from the inside out, would pose a risk of injury to the elephantine wrecking ball?

The prefered method was pushing on the outside, where the elephant's actions could be photographed or sketched.
