Lady standing, second from right, is Emily Hedder who joined the act in 1906, just in time to be present when J.A. Bailey died--and years later to relate the event to me (as well as "Mr. Silbon" selling his stock in Barnum & Bailey, Ltd., and other stories). What a connection to the past!
