From Buckles

Some of you may have noticed that picture #4 is missing.
I contacted Mr. Younger but to no avail, it has vanished from the
face of the earth.
In an effort to contain the revolting citizens, I tossed in this '49
picture of my own.

Nice gesture on your part Buckles to substitute the missing #4. I always hated being run out of town on a rail by revolting citizens.

This is the forest elephant Abele, also called Emily, that Howard Bary brought back from Gangala na Bodio, Belgian Congo in 1947.

The 1949 show was the last to move on 90 rail cars

I agree that these are fine photos

Jim That is my opinion also. There is something more here than the ordinary photos we usually see.
When I got this set from Tom, I knew I had to share them.
