It's really up to the discretion of the tractor driver. We always hooked on the front for the CWM train. Hooking on the back is a little safer for the poler as they can communicate better with the driver and the driver can keep an eye on the poler as opposed to being hooked on the front and being out ahead by about 25 feet. It's also easier on the drivers neck as he doesn't have to keep looking over his shoulder to see the poler. Flint

When do you place the pull over hook at the back, as compared to the front?
