Buckles I believe you are right. I think there were two wagons there. Unfortunley I knew nothing about it at the time, so I missed out on the sighting.
Pfening's article states "one or two" seat wagons were used for GSOE scenes shot at Paramount. One was in the weepy shot when Buttons meets his mother, played by Lillian Albertson. For a bit of trivia, the little blonde girl who received the souvenir from Buttons was the talented child star, Beverly Washburn.
One of these wagons remained for a time on DeMille's ranch, but those used at the studio were returned before the '55 season, when 20 grandstand and 8 bleacher wagons were on the show to the bitter end.

It is too bad that none of these seat wagons, survived. I would like to look one over, real close.
Jim, wasn't there a seat wagon or maybe a Ringling coach abandoned for years in a field off Hwy. 41 between Venice and Ft. Myers?
