Logan once told me that they had two of these quarter pole wagons and both were pulled by a team of elephants as they were loaded at night. They moved at a slow pace but never stopped from the back of the tent to the front on each track while they tossed on the poles. He said they would continue on out to the front of the lot and drop off where a truck would take them on down to the crossing.
