Was it the Elephant truck & was

Buckles: I'm sure the Colonel "merited" posters and the like. Putting names on paper was based on a number of factors but many very capable people never had their names on posters. I don't think the Ringling show had a litho on Alfredo, certainly one of their biggest stars.
This was show's the horse truck.
When my Dad's elephant act was first planned in 1951, there was talk of booking it with Little Bob since his last elephant "Gollmar Palm" had died, hence the premature artwork.
However the final decision was Siebrand Bros. Circus and Carnival.
I believe that they simply didn't make a "sheet" BIG enough!

This truck later housed a steam calliope on Cristiani. I think it had originally housed some sort of medical diagnostic equipment.
