From the Oct. 12th USA Today newspaper.
The former CEO of the Elephant Sanctuary filed a lawsuit seeking $500,000 in damages. Carol Buckley claimed she was forced out and filed the lawsuit against the facility and two of its board members.

Clarabelle was Floyd's first elephant that he taught a few tricks, e.g., brushing her toe nails. Director Vierheller added two more young elephants, Vi and Marian, and the elephant show was first presented in 1937. In 1942 two more elephants, Honey and Lady, were added. (Could these be some of the last elephants brought to the US before WWII?)

In 1953 Honey couldn't perform due to an arthritic foot and died in July of that year. The 1954 show had four elephants and some goats.

The four act plus Jill, an exhibit elephant were sold to Paul Kelly for $10,000. Bert Pettus came to load the elephants on March 23, 1955 -- a two day rodeo. The elephants never left Peru, Kelly claimed they had TB.
