If I remember correctly, his wife's name was Michelle. They had a mixed act of lions and tigers. Maybe 6 in all. When I saw them, Michael was working with the blad and waxed noggin. Seems to me they were from Texas.

Jim A. said...: I too never saw the act. I do know that after Mike retired from show biz he and Bobby Gibbs teamed up to drive a long distance postal truck. Bobby told me an entertaining, and possibly true, tale about himself being distracted while eating a coney island hotdog and slamming on the brakes, rolling Mike out of the bunk. Still friends they did decide to try other solo driving jobs.

I believe Mike died at a relatively eary age of cancer.; 25 October, 2010 13:20
