There was an aerial acident last night at Ringling's performance in Springfield, MA last night. I heard it on the local news this morning, but they had no details as yet.
The lower right side corner photo is of Kathrym Kramer and my Dad, Jack LeClair. For some reason it became one the the standard PR photos used at that time. My Dad could never figure it out, as it was a rainy day and he was wearing rainy day wardrobe, a very wrinkled satin suit. In the original, you can see the dark clouds in the sky. Kathy was a back contortionist and an "in all numbers" type gal, workind with Justino in the ridding act, single traps in the Monte Carlo Barbette number in 48 and a show acrobatic act in l945 that Pat Valdo put together called "The Bomb Shells", she did web, clown swing etc . After she left Ringling she went to work for National an Pan America air in the reservations dept. Lived in NYC in the same apartment building with Soupy Sails (spelling?) Jackie LeClaire
