This photo was taken with a "normal" 50 mm camera lense. It shows the tent interior and the ring in their correct proportion.
The following photo, (taken from about the same spot) of the "Cross Mount" was taken with a wide angle 28mm lense. Note how the tent interior and the ring seem to appear larger.
I'm sure that my good friend and fellow circus photographer Paul Gutheil can back me up on that.
I certainly do back you up and I applaud you loudly for another great set of photos. Did you use two cameras or just switch lenses? Lastly, have you ever gotten a photo of Buckles smiling? LOL

The lack of colored fog is noteable as well!
I had a feeling that you were
lying to us about the headpieces
Were these possibly old "Mills"
trappings worn upside down
They were old CWM headpieces that got mixed up in my stuff somehow.
And clearly you scrubbed off
the "C" & the "M" how clever

as a toddler in a stroller with
a very slight grin
(but maybe I'm mistaken)
