(In what must have been a plus as far as the Felds were concerned, many of the younger audience members immediately recognized "The Blue Danube" as a theme from a then-current hit film: "2001 A Space Odyssey.") 1969 was Merle's last year with the show.; 28 September, 2010 11:23
