Sorry, but I even cleaned my glasses, and I still count 8 tigers in this picture!

In 1981 those pedestal's were stacked up behind a building at Tommy Hannafords place in Osprey. I wonder where they are now?

Those are the pedestals Tommy bought for Struppi's new act

You're absolutely correct. (The original photos are about the size of your little fingernail and I didn't see the 8th tiger behind Gunther.) What is the largest group of tigers he presented at one time while with the Red Unit?

Charly Baumann also came over with an eight tiger act.

Question for Wade, Tanglefoot, and others: Can an act get too big? So large that it is basically get them in and start getting them out with few tricks. I understand every animal makes it more of a challenge for the trainer just to keep control but can you present more complex tricks in a full ring? Maybe this is an apples and oranges thing. Some like a cage packed with cats, some like a few cats doing some unique tricks.

I await the comments.

My recollection was in 1977 he worked 14 leopards in one half and 14 tigers in the other half.

If those pedestals are round on the top, I believe Frank Robie had one of the short ones.
