Kelly-Miller Elephants - 1, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Attached are a few photo scans. The Kelly-Miller shot of the elephants making spec under the big top is a real gem, showing those famous Chevrolet blankets. Not dated, unfortunately, but it was shot by someone in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (newspaper photographer, maybe?). "Lead elephant is "Margaret" and I think the rider is Ora Jo Logan's sister Lucille. The other two riders were fans that everyone on the show seemed to know. They would pull around into the back yard, open the trunk of the car, slip into their Maharajah drag and Freddy would load them up for spec. I used to know their names but have long since forgotten" Buckles
