From Tim Tegge #4

AGKM Interior - Full, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

I've always loved this shot of the AGKM interior, shot by Orin C. King, of Topeka. I have reproduced this one inside the 1959 AGKM CD booklet.

"I looked this picture over closely hoping for a glimpse of myself
when a high-steppin' candy butcher. No luck.
Chicken roosts all the way around, no aisles to sell your wares.
Look at Dick Scatterday's assortment of National Banners."

Did Orin get a credit line?

Looks to be a 120 with 6 center

poles & 5 middles about 40 feet

On 2nd glance it might only be

a 110 with 35 ft middles

This tent was as wide as possible without requiring two rows of quarter poles. Something in the 100' area.
The middle pieces were 1-40', 2-30's and 2-20's.
You may notice that the center poles were not all completely vertical and on occasion, the lace line might be somewhat serpentine.
The only outside support were jiggers front and back.

Orin was a great friend of the circus and always enjoyable to visit with.
