This shot of Arky on the left side, possibly in rehearsal, is routine for guys leading animals in movies. This week on TCM, Eddie Cantor starred in 1943's THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS, a wartime musical revue featuring the big names on the Warner lot. The show included animals, with Louis Roth seen full-on leading a Bactrian camel. He was correctly on the left (upstage) side, and was visible only for a scant few frames before he disappeared behind his charge, like Arky in this shot. If you catch this one, look for a comic bit with an elephant's trunk providing surprises for S.K. (Cuddles) Sakall and Edward Everett Horton.
