Ole Whitey said...: This poster was issued with at least three different titles: Wallace Bros, Hamid-Morton and Clyde Beatty. Have never seen it with the Beatty-Wallace title and am not sure he was with the show that year.

Supposedly it shows the baron in life size but as you see he was much larger than the image by the time this photo was made, and I imagine this was true even at the time the poster was printed.; 19 May, 2010 07:45
Hal Guyon said...: When I met Baron at the time this picture was taken he told me that the poster was somewhat exagerated as to his size. He also said that he had grown about 4 inches as he got older after leaving the shows. When this picture was taken I would guess he was close to about 4 feet tall.; 19 May, 2010 09:33
