1972 trade ad for RBBB listing Allen Bloom for bookings. Show was then colorfully headquartered at 18th & K St. offices after moving from Connecticut Ave.

It's the professional historian in me but I've always liked the line "the longest running hit in show business history!" When I've sold programs on the show, I've used it. Puts RBBB on top of everything ever created for entertainment! Who came up with the line?

annual Variety book

To the best of my recollection, the "longest running hit" line was coined by Allen Bloom.
