Three Dapper Charactors !
Its Always Interesting to see the Comparisons of how Values , Styles & Times Change .
Watkins was fired by the circus and ended up going back to baseball.
Watkins led the way in his departure from the GSOE to baseball.
Many modern day sport executives have roots in the GSOE. Circus trained executives are common in major league baseball, NBA, NHL and major venue management.
These gentlemen were the pioneers of great promotion and marketing. There are no ones poor men. I have read extensively about Mr Fellow and Kelly and others from the early years of Ringling.
It is an honor to follow in their foot steps and I am humble and grateful that my name would be mentioned in the same sentence as these giants of early circus pr and promotion.
I am sure Ms. Wachter and Gold concur.
Respectfully Yours,
Bill Powell
