I am sure this one came in a 1 and 1/2 sheet for store windows.
And grabbed your attention so yuo go to the circus.
Now they put up maybe a few 11 by 17 inch poster's on empty building's 50 feet off the road with no news paper adds or tv adds and why didn't I get any people at my circus.
Some shows do this and others do a super job of advertising.
Even Ben Davenport said when business was bad you advertise more.
No body today knows what a 1 sheet is, Except Ringling in New York.

Use of "Combined Circus" instead of "Combined Shows" likey means this was printed between 1933 and 1937.
Of course, with a lot of copies on hand it may have been used a year or so after 1937. I guess that would have depended of how adamant North was was to return to "Combined Shows."
There is not doubt that he was eager to do away with the Gumpertz legacy.
In 1934, the wagons were painted 'Circus' as shown in the Kelty picture of the personnel.
