That's George alright with Hugo and Vance this side of him. Kept those naughty boys together. The Kellner elephants (Sid, Louie and Juno) directly behind me.
Chicago Amptheater was a great place to watch the show. The audience was practically in the rings. I have many fond memories of the building. The train was parked behind the building and the performers could walk to work and return to the train between shows.
From the performers point of view, the building was probably a little tight.
We would wait for a cop car to enter at the far end, then we would run for the train. Instantly there would be six cop cars trying to catch us. The Amphitheater was also where I learned that J. Edgar Hoover was wrong and that there WAS a mafia... in the form of Carmine Labada, who collected the DUES from all of the constashionaires! ~frank

Would YOU buy a used car from someone this dashing and debonair? ~frank
That sure looks like Ted in the background putting on headpieces? George has his trunk extended at something down the line?
