Timely (?) trivia: The old main building of the Mesker Park Zoo in Evansville was named for Karl Kae Knecht. It was demolished several years ago and a more modern building stands in its place.
With memories of great times at Roberts Stadium for THE Shrine date, Happy Thanksgiving to All.
Now THIS is circus.
Congress couldn't begin to get it up...
Roger,
You are right! First they would have to have a fact finding tour, then several commitees to review what the tour revealed, then hearings to let their favorites tell them what they want to hear and lastly, they would hold it in comittee unti it died a natural death.
This is true at all levels of government. At the local level they hire consultants to find the "facts", then do the commitees, etc. At the state level it is not much different either.
It's not what their constituants want, but who dangles the most bucks in front of them.
