Barbara once got a phone call from Nathan who was attending a party somewhere, he said "Hold on, I've got someone who wants to talk to you!" Turned out to be Elizabeth Taylor. They must have talked for twenty minutes, mostly about their operations.

I wonder what ole Fred Nathan is doing now days? Anyone know?

After leaving "SRF" he opened
his own Broadway office that
was very active for some years
He was a really nice fellow

That call was probably during
the summer of 81 when Fred was
the press rep for "The Little
Foxes" on Broadway that Taylor
was starring in (I think at the
Martin Beck [now the Hirshfeld]
theater) after playing at the
Kennedy Center in D C where my
wife Tiki handled the press
She & Fred were good friends
