1944 Ringling Chicago Program Ad

Surprisingly, the Chicago program had only 5 pages of commercial advertising, including the full-page ads that ran on the inside covers and on the back cover. (One wonders why the Chicago Park Board didn’t use its political clout to fill its program with ads like the Shrine circuses used to do. They could have made even more money from this engagement.

a few years back

around the corner from the

glorious Oriental Theater
