Anonymous, Jesus are you kidding me. Two legends in one picture. The "blond bombshell" Gee Gee Engesser and Rex Rossi's trick saddle which was donated to the Gene Autry Museum. That's who!!! Wade Burck
this picture was taken in june of 2007 at the gene autry museum of american west culture
i took gee gee to los angeles with me on a business trip where we met and entertained a group of prominent business executives from mexico city....on a yacht no less....
long story short mom wanted to see the gene autry museum of western culture .....while there we found several things in her past.....trick riding was one ..but the ultimate find was a display on movie cowboy jack hoxie who appeared on her fathers circus in the mid 1920's....
after a couple days in los angeles we drove the coast road up to big sur and san francisco then flew to vegas to visit ringling red....bellobration..then we took in cirque O at the belagio.....
while at the ringling show when the spec was in full swing she started crying....i turned to her and said "Ma whats going on?... are you sad".....she wiped her tears and said...."billy...i am crying because i am sooo happy...this is my life and i love it..being at the circus"......
7 months later she was inducted into the ring of fame.....and 12 months later she passed away...
gee gee was a true circus broad and i am so happy she was my mom!
For those of you who have never visited the Gene Autry Western Museum, (Now renamed the Autry Center of the American West), it's just outside of downtown Los Angeles in Grifith Park next to the Los Angeles Zoo. I was surprised at how big it was and how all encompassing it was with regards to Native Americans, Movies and Wild West Shows. A magnificent Zoo and The American West - Great way to spend a day when in L.A. and not as crowded as Disneyland! ~frank
Chic, Dianne Olds Rossi. She mentions that she and Rex paid a fortune to have the saddle made, and when he got it home, he used it once, and at the request of Gene Autry, gave it to him for the museum. She wasn't real pleased about that. LOL Wade Burck

Who?
I don't think it's Dolly Parton or Loretta Lynn?
However could just be Lady Engesser AKA Gee Gee.
