Kool Aid Circus 1972 #2

Kool Aid Circus 72-2, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

I know that the Funny Ford was Fay Alexander`s and I`m thinking that the dog`s were Joanne Wilson`s. I was wondering if you could tell me about the elephants and who worked them. I also remember that one year they had the cannon act, but it`s not in this program.

"These are the Hubert Castle elephants worked for many years by Burt Pettus and his daughter Sandy but in this instance pictured with Joanne Wilson.
The elephants in 1972 were "Zetta", Peggy", "Jan", "Bunny" and "Marie".

In 1978 my wife Terri ------> clowned with the Kool-Aid Circus. Hugo Zuniga did the canon act and apparently Meryle Cook also did a Comedy car act when Fay wasn’t there; Terri has snap shots of them both doing their car acts.

Hi Little John,

I saw your post and just had to contact you with a couple of questions about the Kool Aid Circus.... First, did Eddie Zacchini
perform the cannon act as "Hugo Zacchini"? or was Eddie the producer of the show with Hugo Zaccchini Jr. performing the canon act? Secondly, was your wife, Terri, performing with Gary "Maxo" Maximia, and Phil "Pappy" Granger during this time? And did she perform with them at the Iowa State Fair dates? Thanks for any info you might have? Pete
