Jack Ryan said...: With the many reservations I personally have about the direction of the Ringling show, I must say the introduction of the big cat cage as part of the overhead rigging is spectacular.

Most of us remember how long it took to take down the cage -- even when it went into the ring curb.

Frank Ferrante said...: That overhead rigging of the Great Cage was the one thing that really impressed me about the Red Unit this year. THAT and the disappearing elephant! (You can fool some of the people... you know the rest.) All kidding aside, the cage was one innovation that made sense to me.
