Medical Report!

Just returned from a visit to my Cardiologist who has laid out a series of tests for me to take over the next week , Echo, Stress Test, etc. Fortunately the Clinic is only about a mile away.
Incredibly, from looking at last weeks print-outs, he could actually pin-point the exact dates when two earlier seizures had occurred.
Armed with this information I consulted my journals to discover that first one had happened during the latest Ringling Dress Rehearsal and the other immediately after viewing the documentary "Children of All Ages."
On the up side, the nurses unanimously agree that I remain a fine figure of a man.

My knowledge of Sarasota is minimal since we live 30 miles to the north in a town named for the English poet John Ruskin.
Johnny Herriott would be the man to talk to, he know's where all the bodies are buried.

We're extending a certain unwanted membership. I've just completed a first round of MRIs and CAT scans with verdicts due from this nosy sawbones. Likely more a string of nuisances than anything.

Buckles - - Best wishes for a successful resolutoin of your ticker problems. Just think how fortunate we are today vs. the days of our forebears, when medical science was little advanced over the application of leeches.

Good to hear the GREAT news, the tests will give greater definition and enable your doc to come up with the right treatment to keep you with us for a long, long time! ~frank

Ron - That was a very insensitive thing for you to say, it's not about YOU - it's about Buckles. But then again I left my gall bladder in Altoona - and What's Altoona without a little mayo! (Thank you Groucho, where ever you are.) ~frank

Well Buckles it seems that the

stress factor of retirement is

just proving too much for you

Maybe you'll have to go back

to work and relax

Buckles , I wish you had told me how much this retirement thingy is over-rated -- not that I would have listened --- the best partof retirement is the grandkids and payback to the kids by spoiling the grandkids .When I was younger , our family doctor would accept farm produce , and even live chickens in payment from his patients. The one we go to now , has a spare set of golf clubs in one of the rooms . I hope your doc doesn't keep his clubs at the office , at least , and you get a clean bill of health !

I guess its true in our case about medical marvels in our generation. Your fater passed on at middle age and mine as well. And from the same complications we have been treated for.
