And here is an early example of the 'beauty and the beasts'. Recognize her? Yes, it's Mary Chipperfield, bathing her elephants on the beach of Blackpool (England) where she was performing in 1975 in Blackpool Tower Circus. Nowadays, together with husband David Cawley, she is living is the south of Spain, still active training animals. Son David is working a wild-animalact at the Spanish Circus Mundial and daughter Susan is back in the circus again too presenting horses at the Swiss Circus Nock..

She is one of the GREAT animal trainers of our century. Excellent acts, animals are always in good care. Has trained just about every animal that get used in the Circus or Theater.

Mary's husband is actually Roger Cawley, David being their son. Their daughter's name is Suzanne.
