It is with regret that I forward the news that Kitty Smith passed away Thursday night in Venice, FL after a short hospital stay. Miss Kitty, as her circus friends respectfully called her, traveled and worked in the wardrobe department of the Red unit for many years, and was married to the late long-time Ringling Bros. train master Charlie Smith.
Arrangements for Kitty Smith are as follows:
Sunday, May 24, 2009 - Ewing Funeral Home, 140 E. Venice Ave, Venice, FL 34285 [941-488-7737]:
Visitation: Noon-2:00pm
Funeral Service: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Immediately following the service, interment will take place at Venice Memorial Gardens, Center Road, Venice, FL
Friends are welcome to gather to share memories of Kitty at Showfolks Club of Sarasota, 5204 Lockwood Ridge Rd. Sarasota, FL 34230 after the interment.

I think that's because everyone knows you and trusts you with the most personal of information. It's sad that Peggy had to be the one to share this announcement with us. Miss Kitty was a wonderful, caring person who brightened many of our lives on the road. ~frank

No, I didn't turn anything anyway. I just suggested they may look at it differently. Depends on who is doing the telling.
