1974 Ringling Blue Unit #2

1974 Ringling-2, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. In 1974, Bill Pruyn was still leading the Blue Unit's band, his wife Lee was playing organ, and their son was the show's drummer. By then, Irvin Feld was allowing Bill to play some of the old-time traditional circus numbers that Merle Evans had always used, so the musical program was almost like a return to the good old days.
