About 15 years ago, Davide and Susan were on Canada's Garden Brothers Circus along with myself. I asked Davide about the extensive Zoppe Family Tree. After a detailed explanation I ended up more confused than I was when I asked the question.
I did discover that Davide pronounces his name Zoe-pee while Alberto pronounced the name Zoe-pay.
So how can anybody follow a family tree so complex when the same family pronounces their own name differently?

Your confused... Yaro's family was complex, he's fathers name was Hoffmann but related to so many great people in the circus including the 'zoepays' and the 'zoepee' in question...lol! His mothers side was Baricinni and I don't think I even spelled it right. When he started introducing me to people I had to figure out how to get it straight and then when I met Olinka and Tino I just about lost it all. I was fortunate to have gotten to know so many great and famous people, particularly his dad's side of the family, always so kind to us. David said, "I'm not a 'Zoepay', I'm a Zoepee", and Yaro took it personal, thinking he didn't want to be related to him; of course, as time went on and we became friends, and he realized differently...Yaro regarded him and his family highly although, I'm not sure he ever got past that first time when he met him ...they were cousins... -B
Ross - this picture reminded me of your brother, John in his black tux jump suit. Davide and John had about the same build, but John looked a lot more professional and 'svelt' in the jumpsuit. ~frank

There should be a caption on this photo: What do you mean there's no Cracker Barrel in this town.
ROSS! It's a joy to see that you're still around and hopefully well! ~frank
