Royal Hanneford 2009 #1 (From Jimmy Hall)

Buckles,
A few photos from the Hanneford Show in Altoona, Pa. I laid over there for a few days, bought another camera, an electronic thing. I have learned the photos aren't so dark when you take the lens cap off.
The picture of the cake was for the CFA gathering, one of two they have during this date. The photo is of the ceremonial wreath laying at the site of the Walter L. Main train wreck.
The shrine also threw a nice pizza feed in between shows. Special thanks to Bill Troxel, the incoming Potentate, for all his hospitalities.

Carson & Barnes Elephants - The theme for the 2009 All New Forepaugh-Lubin Circus Week Altoona...Lubin Tent used the front page Altoona Mirror picture. Center Picture in the BULL ROOM blown up circus poster size, Cookhouse Table Decorations, cake decoration and then all items were either eaten, poster OABA/Lubin Raffle off, table decorations won by someone sitting at one of the ten tables. Thanks to Forepaugh-Lubin Tent - Jaffa Catering Services provided baked chicken and roast beef for the entire Hanneford Crew & Performers after the second performance... After the third show - center ring cake & ice cream....BILL TROXELL, Shrine Circus Chairman was this years Forepaugh-Lubin "GOLDEN GRANDMA." Over fifty CFA Fans from ten states registered this year..Dates have been posted for 2010...Watch for them...
