you can see Lally Zacchini's cannon in the background (his dad i believe was Emmanual and they joined the 100th anniv. show)--whatever happened to him? he along with Elvin, Jose Guzman, Franz Althoff, Ray Cuddy (clown), Tito, were a tight knit group on the blue unit as many of the acts in thsoe days still traveled overland and had their own trailers. Lally's wife was later hurt in the act;

That was the "X-15" a semi mounted

double shot cannon (one behind the

other) and the accident happened

as the 1st flyer (maybe Lally's

sister or wife) bounced on her

landing in the net and Lally

collided with her in the air

The only other semi mounted unit

I ever saw was Elvin's big one

"World's Largest" in the first

years before remounting on a

straight job chasis
