On Sept. 27, 2002 6 rare white tigers were sent from Memphis, TN, to Bankok, Thailand. They were a gift from the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere and the Oakhill Center for Rare and Endangered Species to the Khao Kheow Zoo in Chonburi, Thailand. They were welcomed by the Prime Minister of Thailand. The Nashville Zoo was breeding white tigers in collaboration with Siegfried & Roy. http://www.fedex.com/cgi-bin/content/cgi?template=de_english_pr&content=about/pressreleases/emea/pr092702&cc=de_english
