JUST GOT A PHONE CALL THAT DOROTHY YERKES PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT . SHE FELT REAL BAD AND THEY RUSHED HER TO THE HOSPITAL BUT IT WAS TOO LATE AND SHE DIED.
THIS WAS BOBBY YERKES WIFE.

Dorothy was among the few in Parley Baer's inner circle once he suffered his stroke. Aside from voiceover actor and narrator Art Gilmore and character actor/bandleader Herb Ellis, he usually didn't welcome visitors, but was delighted when Dorothy came over. Her smiles and sunshiney disposition gave him a needed lift. What a blessing her visits were.

Anyone with further details about her passing, please post them for us.
