Ringling Museum #9

In all the times I have visited the museum I had never seen the grave sites of John and Mable Ringling since their burial in 1991.
To the unaware, they had lay in a Morgue in New Jersey for over a half century and as I understand it, their Estate was in Receivership and anyone who assumed responsibility for their burial would somehow be encumbered financially.
Maybe Anonymous could clarify this.

JRN was "frozen out" of his uncle's estate, as far as receiving any direct proceeds. For some slight, JR disinherited him. JRN remained as estate co-executor with his mother and through management, negotiation and luck eventually resolved the very messy situation to his and the family's advantage with the IRS, the State of FL and other parties. JR didn't give JRN the treasure chest, but he did give him a means to locate it and JRN secured the reins on a team to take him to it. In this instance, having control was more important than having possession. JRN's retaliation was to keep his uncle "on ice" until his passing. Thereafter, it appears that brother HRN accomplished the internment of JR, Mable and their mother. RIP
