Anonymous said...: I was thrilled to see Wolfgang in 1971 in Orlando,Florida.This the first time I ever saw the big one.He and the show were amazing.THree cat acts on that show.Dickie Chipperfield,Jr.,Charlie Baumann,and Wolfgang.What a show.I think we paid 5 bucks per.Never see the likes of it again.Harold Ronk,Prince Paul,Otto Greibling,etc.
I remember it like yesterday.It was the last time Ringling played Orlando for 12 years.This as the old Orlando Sports Stadium was just too small and no ac or heat.
Pio Knock did his wire act over Wolfgangs cage full of cats.
Simply stupendous.
