Mark Pilger Memorial #1 (From Pete Sturgis)

Here are a few pictures from yesterdays' Mark David Pilger Memorial held in the Hippodrome @ Circus World, if you wish to share them with your bloggers. About 50 people showed on a blustery day , at 2:00 PM, to celebrate Marks' life, and accomplishments. There was barely a "dry eye" in the house. Such a thrilling tribute to ones shortened life. Picture 1 - Circus World logo, in the Hippodrome. Picture 2 - Jay Pilger, Marks' brother, leading the service. Picture 3 - Montage of Marks' pictures of the years of his life, in and out, of show buisness. A memorial fund has been set up for Mark, if anyone should care to contribute. The address for that is:

Mark was a very good friend to me. I knew him in the early eighties, when he worked with Jim and Heide, he was doing a trapeze preformance under the helicopter at the Florida State fair. He was truely a remarkable person. He made me open my eyes and relize that life is short, we are only here for a second. Mark was truely an Angel on Earth, know he's flying high in the Heaven's watching over all of us. Mark, you are truely missed buddy, I've been looking for you for sometime. I didn't relize you left us until a week ago. Jay, your brother was a true friend. He was one whom loved life family and friends. I just lost track of him through the years. I'll always miss him and Love him, always did. Fly high my friend.
