Does anyone know Zack's early years? He all of a sudden pops up on Ben Wallace's outfit as assistant manager in 1905. That sort of leap up the ladder didn't happen overnight in those days.
I remember reading i think in the Bandwagon about Mr. Terrell in his early years.
I know he was with the American circus corp. for many years and was a top notch manager of Sells-Floto and it made tons of money and if not he would have been long gone. When Tom Mix was with Sells-Floto they made big money to pay Mix $10,000 a week.
Then he and Jess Adkins in 1935 had the Cole Bros Circus with Clyde Beatty and it was ruff going at first but they had a few great years.

Can you spell "Grifter?"
Grift is the logical answer, but what's the justification?
Dear whoever,
With a shell game and a blowoff in the side show, why would you even ask such a question? Sorry that you don't know how to sign your name.

Ditto Mr. Kitto...Why? would Mr. no-Name ask...but we must not forget the Danceing Girls "Performin Tricks"...
