This Garden extended from 49th to 50th Streets and this view shows the corner of 8th Ave and 49th Street.
The performers' entrance was on the 49th Street side.
Presumably this is the Garden of John Ringling and Tex Rickard construction, and where the contract issue that resulted in Ringling's buy-out of Mugivan, Bowers and Ballard was conceived.
FYI, This looks like a linen type post card. The linen era ran from about 1935 until the mid 50's. If anyone wants more info about this type of card there is a museum in one of the Chicago burbs that features several million of these cards.
