This is a good time to point out that Dorothy Herbert wrote a 6-part autobiography in BANDWAGON, beginning in the Nov.-Dec., 1988 edition. Part 2 is in Jan.-Feb., 1989. Part 3 appears in Mar.-Apr. 1989, and Part 4 ran in May-June, 1989. She proved a most engaging writer who inlcuded colorful recollections of the personalities she knew, along with many photos, lithos, and stills from this movie. The whole 6-parter is recommended as a page-turning must-read. Those with handier indexing skills than mine may provide the other two exact issues in which her story carries on to the finale.

This movie was followed by CRANKY UNCLE CREEPY, the circus staffer with two faces and fork tongue.
