Bobby was also an educator. I think it was a troupe of Chinese performers on Big Apple that he taught the finer words of the English language, which they then shouted, at his behest, from some float in a parade somewhere. Maybe someone knows the details.

"The unit that pulled Dave Hale's camel trailer with Big Apple was a flat bed truck with a fifth wheel plate in the center, in fact this might be it in Joey Ratliff's picture above.
In each town Bobby would load up the Chinese on the back and act as their tour guide, it looked like a hay ride pulling off the lot.
Their favorite spot however was always Wal Mart where Bobby entertained the locals while they bought appliances to take back to China.
One night after the show Bobby held a birthday party for Rosa in the tent and of course everyone attended. At one point he decided to have Zamarot (contortionist in the bottle) to sing "Happy Birthday" in his native language. Next the Gouchos sang it in Spanish, then the Arabian tumblers did the "Praise be to Allah" and finally Bobby asked the interpretor if the Chinese could sing the Chinese "Happy Birthday".
All twelve of them lined up and on cue began to sing but to our surprise, it was our Birthday song but with Chinese lyrics.
Half way thru Bobby interrupted them saying, "No, No, No, I mean your Happy Birthday song, not ours".
The interpretor spoke to them again and again they lined up and on cue began singing the same song over again.
Bobby started yelling "No!, No!, No!, Goddammit, Irving Berlin wrote that tune! Six billion Chinese and you don't even have a birthday song?" Without so much as a word the Chinese left the tent.
Early next morning while I was cleaning out the picket line, Paul Binder came up and said, "That damn Bobby just about started World War Three last night, I just got an ear full from the Chinese Consulate!"
However between shows I again saw all the Chinese loading up on Dave Hale's truck, bound for the nearest Wal Mart.
As a PPS, I later heard that when they got back to China none of their stuff worked due to difference in electrical voltage."
