July 4th 1915 menu B&B (From Richard Flint)

July 4th 1915 menu B&B001, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

A reminder that today is also James A. Bailey's birthday. He was born
in Detroit as James A. McGinnis on July 4th, 1847, but took the name
Bailey in honor of his mentor in the circus business, Frederick H.
Bailey, a nephew of Hachaliah Bailey of Somers, NY, who exhibited Old
Bet the elephant.

And tomorrow, July 5th, is the 198th birthday of P.T. Barnum, born in
Bethel, Connecticut, in 1810.

To all, enjoy a good Fourth of July feast as fine as used to be served
on shows way back!
