Side Note!

These are two of the elephants seen in the series above when owned by Ed Wideman "Peggy" (named after Peggy MacDonald) and "Zetta" (named for Ed's wife Arzetta).
Mac had previously trained the big Elephant for Ed in 1948 however "Peggy" was brought into Hugo completely green.

This picture taken the winter of 1951-52 at Little Bob Stevens quarters.
In the afternoon after things had been wrapped up with KM my dad and Logan would go over to work on this little elephant for Ed, a retired Post Man, who didn't have a clue but as my dad would say, "No need for her to grow up in ignorance!"
I might add that there was no fee charged, other than a steak dinner.
