Is this the Charlie Campbell who later lived around Atlanta and published the "Today is Circus Day" weekly route of where all the shows were? I still have a stack of those stored somewhere.

Yes it is as well as the Curator of the Marie O'Day Palace Car.

Charlie once told me he came from a family of undertakers, so working with Marie was no problem.

When he was showing Marie around the country he had a guy working for him named Doc Tombs or something very similar, which I thought interesting considering the nature of the exhibit.

Hi,
Charlie Campbell was my grandfather. I never met the man as my mother hasnt been in contact with him she was a child. I read online that he is deceased however I would love to hear any information anyone has about him. I havent been able to find his obituary. My mother rode along with the Marie Oday exhibit as a young girl and my grandmother Betty to care of the body of Marie O'day. This is one of just a few pictures I have ever seen of Charlie. Any pictures or information would be greatly appreciated.
