2008 CFA Convention

Scan000011112, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. The Herriott Luncheon was a great success, the Col. was in rare form, the meal was excellent and the fellowship incomparable. At the conclusion of the event all CFA members were bussed to the Alain Zerbini quarters where he had erected his tent and a special performance given. Today they will attend the Royal Hanneford Circus at Robarts Arena in Sarasota and the festivities will conclude Sunday at the Grand Banquet. So far the highlight of the Convention has been Jeanette Williams speech given Wednesday. She outlined the history of the Althoff dynasty, her animal training expertise with Ringling, fame as a successful circus producer, comments on Gunther and Elvin and of course as always, kind words for Barbara and myself.
