Hey Buckles,
I attended opening night of the K&N Show on Long Island. Nicole sends her warmest regards (see, I've figured out how this blog works). Seriously, I estimated attendance to be 7,000-8,000. Crowd favorites were the motorcycles - both on the wire and in the globe - and the elephants. My personal favorite was Silva on the double trapeze and foot rings. Our whole group enjoyed this Blue Unit better than two years ago, but not as much as the Red Unit. It's hard for me to get used to RBBB having no rings. The floor often appeared barren. You're right about all the talking bogging down the performance. On a good note, I was laughing throughout - not at the ridiculous comedy trapeze, but remembering all the comments from the blog. Overall we had an enjoyable evening.

One of the most memorable of all lots, played by all the great ones, the Washington & Hill lot, in LA. Many fine photos of these shows were taken from the Mode O' Day Bldg.
