Yes Buckles,a small price to pay to see a true circus diva...
The Polack Show used to play a number of Military Installations, in fact they played Ft. Chaffee, Ark. when I was stationed there.
Peggy and Mac MacDonald were there with the Besalou elephants. I visited as much as I could and Peggy made me a great meal one day, sure beat that Army chow. I never dreamed that 10 years later I would be working those same elephants.
To complete the circle, one year with the Polack Show in the 60's, we played Camp Pendleton and Paul McCausland knocked on the trailer door. He was now in the Marines and about to ship out for Viet Nam.
We extended him the same courtesy.
It's nice to see a photo of Struppi Hanneford.
Hi There,
I see you mentioned Paul McCausland. Do you have any idea about his whereabouts today? He served as a marine with my father inlaw in Vietnam and I would really love to find out and info I can about what he's up to today. Him and my father in law were very close during their time in Vietnam. The other night, he told us storied about him and Paul while they were over there and he said that out of everyone he's the one person he would be most interested in reconnecting with. If you have any info could you please email me at sammers2121@gmail.com ? Thank you so much,
Samantha
